Dane Anderson has a long history of
success and respect in the IT research
industry, having close to 13 years
of experience in this specialised
sector culminating in the co-founding
of Springboard Research in 2003.
As well as being the co-founder, Dane
is the CEO & Executive Vice President
of Research at Springboard, providing
his customers with the full spectrum
of IT market research, with specializations
in software, services, vertical markets
and partnering. In this capacity,
Dane oversees Springboard, all research
activities, and engages in the entire
research process from project initiation
to delivery.
Prior to founding Springboard Research,
Dane worked for IDC Asia/Pacific for
nearly a decade, based in both Hong
Kong and Singapore. During this time,
he played a major role in the firm's
regional expansion and was instrumental
in leading a number of key research
areas, including personal systems,
enterprise systems, vertical markets
and consulting, as well as serving
as a senior member of the company's
regional management team during a
period of rapid expansion. His last
position with IDC Asia/Pacific was
as Vice President of Consulting and
Vertical Markets. Dane's views on
the Asian IT market are commonly cited
in prominent publications and broadcast
media where he has gained a great
reputation as an IT industry guru,
and he is a sought after speaker at
industry events in both Asia and the
United States.

Chris Perrine has had a long and distinguished
career in the technology industry,
culminating in the co-founding of
Springboard Research in 2003.
As COO & Executive Vice President
of Sales & Marketing at Springboard,
Chris’s focus is on managing
all business aspects, sales, and marketing
activities for the company. In this
capacity, he has made substantial
contributions to the company’s
high growth and profitability through
his vigorous sales, marketing, and
management efforts.
Prior to founding Springboard Research,
Chris worked for IDC Asia/Pacific
in the position of Regional Sales
Manager. In this role, Chris led IDC’s
new strategy of targeting industries
outside of its core client base in
the technology sector. Chris established
and managed a sales team that exceeded
its targets and grew revenues at close
to 500 per cent during the tough years
that followed the “bubble bursting”
in the technology sector. Prior to
this, Chris was the Regional Sales
Manager for Datastream Systems, a
software firm specializing in Enterprise
Asset Management Solutions. He is
credited with helping spearhead the
company’s entry into the Asia/Pacific
region, where he helped establish
Datastream as the market leader in
Asia.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Business Administration
from The Citadel in the United States,
where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Tirthankar currently serves as Research Director with Springboard Research, where he is responsible for overseeing Springboard's research focused on Partnering, which includes local Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), System Integrators (SIs), and Channels. Tirthankar works closely with leading technology vendors to help them better identify and understand the local partnering eco-system as well as managing research projects that help local partners to provide their feedback and thoughts to the market.
Prior to joining Springboard, Tirthankar
was a Sampling Operations Manager
for Greenfield Online India, a leading
independent provider of Internet survey
solutions for the global marketing
research industry. During his tenure,
he played a primary role in establishing
the research processes and overseeing
the functioning and interaction of
the team. Before this, Tirthankar
worked with IDC India for three years
in the custom research division. In
this time, he managed several high
profile studies relating to market
potential and demand estimation, customer
satisfaction, psychographic analysis
and entry-Level strategies for IT
and telecom clients. His research
work has also been published in many
Indian IT & telecom magazines,
including Dataquest and Voice &
Data.
Tirthankar has amassed more than 10
years of experience in the field of
market research and business development.
He has earned an Economics honors
degree from MS University, Vadodara,
India, and a post-graduate degree
in Business Management from IMI, New
Delhi, with a specialization in marketing. |

Gopalakrishnan Krishnamurthy is in charge of the Indian operations of Springboard Research. His expertise in operational systems and processes is borne out by his 25 years experience in managing critical projects and teams in a variety of roles within the IT industry.
At Springboard, he is responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the company’s Indian operations, with an aim to provide better market insights to clients. He is primarily involved in expanding and developing the research coverage of the Indian market and development of India-based research accounts. As the operational head, he is also responsible for managing ongoing research projects, internal communications, management and team-building efforts at Springboard India.
Prior to joining Springboard Research, Krishnamurthy’s role as Associate Vice President at iPolicy Networks, a subsidiary of Tech Mahindra Group, saw him utilize his experience and process management skills to successfully transition manufacturing and operations from USA to India. His earlier assignments in managing software development at Quark Media and iProcess, a GE subsidiary, also involved overseeing complex business transitions, where he employed Six Sigma dashboard metrics to monitor the quality of these transitions as well as of software development processes. He also brings strong business and systems management expertise from his earlier stints at NIIT and Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
Krishnamurthy graduated from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur with a B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering. He also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, with specialization in Systems and Production. |

Prior to his appointment at Springboard Research, Phil was responsible for driving IDC's research in the Services marketplace across the Asia/Pacific region. During his 6 years at IDC Phil led a large multi-national team of analysts across a range of IT related services, from support, to consulting and integration, and IT and Business Process outsourcing market.
Before joining IDC, Phil had a significant amount of experience in corporate strategy, marketing and research at Accenture, along with Lend Lease, where he was responsible for their global research in shopping center development.
Phil is a highly sought after media commentator contributor. He has regular coverage in key media such as the Australian Financial Review, South China Morning Post, CNBC and CIO, and in the important Indian media publications. Bryan Wang has over six years of experience in the networking, telecom, and mobility research industry in the Asia/Pacific region. As Springboard's Senior Finance Manager, Divya manages all aspects of Springboard's financial activities and is responsible for overseeing Springboard's global financial initiatives as the company rapidly expands. Prior to joining Springboard Research, Divya was a Partner in J.M. Chadha & Chadha where he was given an extensive exposure to the finance industry. During this time, Divya gained experience in many different aspects of the industry such as fund management, budgeting, preparation of financial reports, ratio analysis and the finalization of balance sheets. In his role, he also executed on direct taxation, income tax and wealth tax returns, and statutory and internal audit activities. Divya has dealt with numerous clients such as Jammu & Kashmir Bank, Punjab National Bank, Sanspareils Greenlands, Vivek Motor Finance, Gupta Motor & General Finance and many others. Divya is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and has completed D.I.S.A. a post qualification course on the Information and System Auditing from ICAI.
